FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When we propose a price for a job we explain in detail what steps we will be taking to complete the project, even down to what materials will be used and the brand names of the materials. This way, the customer knows exactly where our price is coming from and how we went about getting it.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All of our customers are treated exactly the same, whether they are new or returning. We come out to the residence of the proposed job to look at what needs to be done. Sometimes we find there is more work that needs to be accomplished, however, we sometimes find we can tell the customer that there is actually more life left to the structure in question. Whenever we can save the customer money we do and we are always honest in what needs to be done. We never ever cut corners to save money and, therefore, sacrifice the quality and craftmanship. This is why we are confident in our work and we offer a warrantee. Even if you sell your home, the warrantee will be transferred to the new homeowner. Finally, once we look at the project and take any necessary measurements, then we get pricing for materials and write up a proposal so the customer knows exactly what we intend to do and the cost at hand.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education and training are very important, but first, know that we are fully licensed and insured. This means if one of our guys gets hurt on the job you are not responsible. In addition, if there is an accident and something on your property becomes damaged we are fully insured and all repair/replacement costs are covered. Now, onto our training and certifications! We are one of the few certified Nicolock installers in the general area. We are also certified by the Interlocking Concrete Paver Institute and the quality of our work reflects these accomplishments. The masonry craft has been in our family for generations. This means that we have techniques and methods used for decades to produce stunning, quality work. With that said, we also keep up with new industry standards to ensure that modern day science and technology mixed with technique will give you quality and beauty that has stood the test of time.
