FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can work with any budget, and the prices listed on Thumbtack are only estimates until we talk about what you are looking for. Full shoots (35-55 photos) begin at $175 and cost is based on listing price, not square footage, but they only give the option to list that way. Digital Floorplans are an additional $70. Travel within 30 miles of New London, CT roundtrip is free, and .50 cents per mile for every mile over 30.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask every agent or home owner to make sure that the home is as neat and organized as possible (both inside and out) before the shoot, that all the lights are switched on before I arrive, and that all shades, curtains, and/or blinds that can be opened are opened or raised. This brings in both the view and natural light, and makes the rooms appear larger. I also ask that the least amount of residents (and pets) possible be in the home while we are shooting, as we shoot with a very wide angle lens, and this makes the process run faster and smoother.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained in 2016 by a national real estate photography/digital floorplan company based in Colorado that employs photographers all over the US, and opened my own small business, MM Photography, at the end of 2018.
