I scheduled my chimney cleaning with Safeway multiple times. Each time, they canceled for different reasons, including the employee being sick and the van breaking down. Ultimately we rescheduled it for last weekend. A half hour before they were supposed to show up, they texted me that they would not be doing the job because they had looked at the town records and determined that my chimneys were too old. My house was built in 1763, but obviously all of the heating systems and my woodstove were installed after that. I informed them of that fact, and they still decided not to do the job. They treated me completely unprofessionally. I cannot recommend anyone waste their time dealing with this company.
