- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees range from by the hour for smaller projects and for consults, and a flat rate for larger engagements so that we can maintain the client’s budget. I am very fair in pricing and lend my discounts to my clients. I commit to one quote for the work to be done, and if I feel that my time will go over that I will let my client know we are reaching that point, and never give my client a surprise invoice.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically have a phone conversation first to get a scope of the project, chat with a potential new client and get some basic information from them. From there, if the client feels comfortable with me and would like to meet in person for a consultation, I will travel to their home to see the project in person, and hopefully formally engage the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member do ASID which hosts many many dynamic speakers, Industry and Individuals, that I attend regularly. My particular interest is the psychological impact of a well designed home on people's lives.
