I had an excellent experience with JR Handyman Services when I needed a large TV installed in my home with a heavy duty mount. He spotted and avoided problems I never would have thought of had I tried to do it myself. Great job by this team.

JR was fabulous …he completed all of the many things I needed done from mounting a tv screen, to hanging large/heave mirrors and art and photo creating a closet with light in my under the stairwell crawl space. All his work was done with thoughtfulness, expertise and perfection. I would highly recommend JR and I will definitely be hiring him again !

I would give JR 10 stars if I could. He was very communicative, punctual, did the work to more than our satisfaction. We had a 100 year old table that had so many runners to open and close it and it was all discombobulated. He figured it out and worked on it for almost 3 hours. He offered a discount because when he was done it wasn’t perfect, but it was because the table was missing parts. He got it to open full size, which we miss having. It’s our family holiday table that we can all sit around. I said no to the discount and we paid him more than he originally quoted because he was so professional and did more than anyone else would have. So now the table will last another 100 years. You will not be disappointed in hiring him anytime. We plan on using him again when we need to. Beyond excellent!

The app only lets you choose three items so I need to add punctuality and responsiveness!!! Plus I need to add super fast, super nice!!! To say I was more than pleased is an understatement!! Had these items on the side of my house for months … he got rid of them (two huge heavy piles) in the blink of an eye!!! Thank you for a job well done!!! Norwalk, CT

I would highly recommend JR for a whole host of projects/home repairs! He came to install shelving for me and the quality of his work was so outstanding that I’m having him come back to look at a bathroom remodel that we are considering. In addition to the quality of his work, he is simply a great, professional man. He began the project by explaining my options and throughout his working he told me everything that he was going to do before he did it. When he was finished, he ensured that I was happy with his work. He even stayed for a bit, when the work was completed, to play with my dog! I would hire him again without reservation and I highly recommend that you do the same.

I'm not the cheapest but I am slightly flexible with my prices. I can guarantee that with me you are getting quality work for a reasonable price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The best way the customer can help with the task at hand is to provide as much information as possible (pictures are great) or if it's an assembly sending the make and model help tons when it comes to estimates etc
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I went to a tech school for carpentry and after that just started working. I have 8+ years in the handyman business.
