Cannot say enough great things about working with JR Handyman! He was quick to respond , kept me abreast of his arrival time and was detailed oriented in hanging my TV and he cleaned up and took away the trash! So thankful I found him and will be using him for upcoming projects this spring !

I would give JR 10 stars if I could. He was very communicative, punctual, did the work to more than our satisfaction. We had a 100 year old table that had so many runners to open and close it and it was all discombobulated. He figured it out and worked on it for almost 3 hours. He offered a discount because when he was done it wasn’t perfect, but it was because the table was missing parts. He got it to open full size, which we miss having. It’s our family holiday table that we can all sit around. I said no to the discount and we paid him more than he originally quoted because he was so professional and did more than anyone else would have. So now the table will last another 100 years. You will not be disappointed in hiring him anytime. We plan on using him again when we need to. Beyond excellent!

The app only lets you choose three items so I need to add punctuality and responsiveness!!! Plus I need to add super fast, super nice!!! To say I was more than pleased is an understatement!! Had these items on the side of my house for months … he got rid of them (two huge heavy piles) in the blink of an eye!!! Thank you for a job well done!!! Norwalk, CT

JR responded quickly to my request and gave me an upfront, reasonable price. He was flexible with scheduling and was able to arrive early. While working, JR was focused on the job and took his time to finish the work. The curio cabinet he assembled included mirrors and glass which required extra care. When finished, he cleaned up thoroughly and ensured that I was satisfied with the work. I am so glad to have found a skilled and reliable handyman who was also kind and personable. I will hire him again and recommend him without hesitation.

I'm not the cheapest but I am slightly flexible with my prices. I can guarantee that with me you are getting quality work for a reasonable price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The best way the customer can help with the task at hand is to provide as much information as possible (pictures are great) or if it's an assembly sending the make and model help tons when it comes to estimates etc
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I went to a tech school for carpentry and after that just started working. I have 8+ years in the handyman business.
