He came the next day, quickly evaluated the project, and gave a very reasonable estimate. They scheduled the job and finished within the time frame estimated. The finished product was very nice. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is very typical for jobs to be higher in cost than a customer thinks as a result of the number of costs involved in running a profitable construction company but we do everything we can to keep costs down and offer discounts and specials whenever we can.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The apprenticeship program at the carpenters union and a degree in Construction Management from CCSU.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing concrete work for a family friend then joined the union.
