FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge extra than office set price for traveling to clients location. Open to discuss when booking a session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I screen all new potential clients that call or email. I ask many questions from basic info, name, numbers, emails, addresses. Their health history to make sure if anything is contraindicated for massage therapy. I ask for their problem areas that needs to be focused on. I ask what areas they Are and are NOT comfortable with getting massage. I want to make sure the client can connect with me, feel secure and comfortable and trust that I can help them reach their goals in well being. When clients come in the office they fill out a wellness chart with same questionare and a release form they have to sign. All to ensure comfortably and security for both therapist and client.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I believe it wa any calling. When I was a little girl I use to massage my aunts neck and shoulders and they would give me a $1. My older brother always asked for me to walk on his back. When I was 16 my uncle suggested I check in with physical therapy or massage as a career. At 16 I didn’t have a clue what I wanted to do after High school. The end of the year I graduated high school I had my first child and that pushed me to be focus on a career path. With having a little one I needed something that would fit my lifestyle at the time. I applied for massage therapy school full time and worked a third shift job full time on weekends. I was very busy! I made it through! I thank my uncle all the time for leading me to the right direction!
