I cannot say enough about how wonderful Altea is as a math tutor for both of my children. Their grades and study habits have improved, as well as their confidence in math and desire/drive to learn. Altea is punctual, timely, thorough, kind, patient and so many other wonderful qualities you would look for in a tutor. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for tutoring in math.

Altea was a great teacher! She took time teaching me different methods and problems so that I could prepare for my SAT exam. We specifically focused on math. We did Zoom lessons and discussed each problem thoroughly. She helped me with any questions or concerns I had!

I contacted Altea because I was studying for the GRE. I had not taken a math course in 24 years, and I had very little memory of Algebra and Geometry. Altea and I met within a week of our first contact, and we met weekly after that. She is wonderful tutor. Her knowledge and passion for math was just what I needed to get excited about an exam that scared me so much. She was always on time and was always prepared. Altea is kind and patient, and she has a wonderful sense of humor. I highly recommend Altea for help with coursework and/or test preparation.
