We hired Isabelle and Shado for our engagement shoot last year and it was perfect! We went to the Coolidge Reservation in Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA which is a short hike in the woods that leads to amazing views of the ocean. Isabelle and Shado were both wonderful to work with. We could tell early on they really knew what they were doing and helped guide us into creating the most epic pictures for our wedding Save the Dates. Would highly recommend this duo as it was very convenient to have two photographers that were in total sync and able to get many different angles throughout our 1 hour photo shoot.

Isabelle was very easy to work with, super friendly and responsive. She was able to keep my toddler and all family members engaged during our shoot. She knew where we should stand and went with the flow. She asked us what we wanted to achieve and see and was able to make it happen. It is difficult to know where to start when writing a review for Shado and Isabelle, because they are simply the best photographers to work with! From our first contact with them, my now husband and I were looking forward to working with them. Their rates are very reasonable, their communication skills are excellent, and they deliver gorgeous photos within a super quick timeline. Their photos are so warm and natural. They seem to capture a human essence in a world of overly filtered and edited shots. My partner and I are both quite introverted, and we were not looking forward to being in front of the camera. I felt they listened to our concerns and were reassuring, and we felt like we had a great team with our photographers. It felt great to feel confident and relaxed during the whole process.Shado and Isabelle initially met with us on the phone to do a vibe check and see if our goals matched their style and approach. When we decided to move forward, we then scheduled our engagement session. It was a good way to get to know them and feel more comfortable. Shado ended up having a schedule conflict, and communicated with plenty of notice to allow us to change the date if needed. While we missed having him there, Isabelle was amazing to work with. The weather ended up being wild and rainy, and she stayed in excellent communication with us in case we needed to change the plan. We decided to go for it, and ended up having a really fun time. The photos captured my vision perfectly and then some. We are thrilled with how they came out. As the wedding approached, they emailed a detailed form that allowed us to describe what shots and family/friend portraits were important to us. We met again on a video call to go over any questions and to finalize the schedule. I even got a lovely text from Isabelle the day before the wedding to check in and send good energy our way.As for the wedding itself, many guests have commented on how fun and vibrant Shado and Isabelle were at the event. They were very professional, but also blended right into the party and felt like invited friends. They were able to organize a rowdy group for portraits, and kept everyone on schedule and organized. When my partner and I felt a little overwhelmed during the cocktail hour, they instantly pivoted and took us to a private area to get more photos of us. It allowed us to catch our breath and return to the party with renewed energy. We also were blessed to have good lighting for sunset shots, and they helped us sneak away to quickly grab some before the party kicked off. It felt wonderful to feel 100% confident in their talent and skill, and my partner and I felt supported from start to finish.If you are reading this, I wouldnt hesitate to reach out to connect with Shado of a Rose Photography. I immediately knew I wanted to work with them after reading helpful reviews, and I am so glad our paths crossed. Besides marrying my best friend, they were one of my favorite parts of my wedding day! :)

We are flexible! We start the conversation with a base quote and we encourage a discussion so we can land on a price that best fits your needs and budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we're alerted of your interest, a responsive and thorough effort is made to figure out your needs and how we can best suit your vision. We agree on a DATE, LOCATION, and PRICE. You'll receive an invoice to sign, after our session, you'll receive a digital edited gallery available to download, publish, and share at your leisure.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We've been in the business for the last two years. What started as a hobby for both of us became our full time passion. We've been aspiring travel photographers as we entered college, it's only now we are seeing the fruits of that labor. We enjoy the journey and hope for the same for our clients.
