Kim & Ben are great! The photos turned out amazing, they were very professional & easy going, made the best of our not so fancy venue, got our sneak peeks the day after and the final 1,674 edits (not including B&W versions) about a month later. I'm also a photographer and know how long editing takes so this is pretty quick for how busy I'm sure they are. So glad we chose Kindred Photography!

If I could rate this with more than 5 stars I would. As you know, getting pictures is one of the most important parts of your wedding day. My wife was quite stressed as you can imagine. Ben and Kim put her at ease and made it stress free process. We had sent them poses we found on Pinterest that we would like to take. They brought our list and we checked off every single one by the end. I think what sets them apart (besides taking great photos) is their personalities. They worked great as a team, and you can tell they really love what they do. Thank you so much, Ben and Kim, for providing us with beautiful photos that we can cherish forever. I highly, highly recommend Ben and Kim to anyone.

We sought out photographers on thumbtack and Kim from Kindred Photography responded immediately to our request for a photographer for our wedding day. She was quick to respond and their price quote and package that was offered was exactly what we were looking for. After our initial meeting with the Kim and Ben, we know right away that we wanted them to be our photographers. They are both young, friendly, down to earth, professional and both have BFA's in Photograghy. We felt comfortable right away after our first meet. These are not just photographs, these are our memories of the best day of our lives, and they nailed it! Kim and Ben photographed our engagement back In July of last year and we felt awkward taking photos but they did such an awesome job capturing our pictures and they all came out great! Then last month they photographed our wedding day and we could not say enough positive things about them. Our pictures turned out better than we could have ever imagined!! Not only are we incredibly thrilled with the outcome, but working with such professional and fun couple made the experience that much better! Photographers are one of the most important vendors a bride and groom needs to hire, and we are so thankful we were able to work with Kim and Ben.

Kim and Ben were absolutely wonderful to work with. The day of the wedding they came to the hotel and started taking photos as soon as they came into the room where I was getting ready, and they didn't stop taking pictures for the next 7+ hours! Initially Ben went with my husband and Kim stayed with me for the initial pictures and having the two photographers definitely made the pictures before the ceremony much easier. They were extremely professional and got great pictures without being in your face. During the actual ceremony they got so many great shots with me barely noticing them moving around us. I have been to other weddings where the photographers get right in your face or in the way of your guests and this was not the case at all! Many of my guests even commented on how great of a job they did! With having a winter wedding there were of course concerns about the weather and Kim assured me that they would make it to the wedding no matter what, which was very comforting leading up the the big day. They both seem to really love what they do and it shows! All of the pictures came out phenomenal, there were so many fantastic shots that now I am left with the difficult decision of choosing what ones I want to have printed for my house! I would highly recommend Kindred Photography for your wedding or other photography needs!

We build our packages based on whether you would like 1 or 2 photographers, the hours of coverage on your wedding day, if you are interested in an engagement session and if you would like an album.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We both have our BFA in Photography and have been photographing events and families for over 12 years.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Both my husband and I have known photography was our passion since we were early teens. We went to Art School to pursue learning and expanding our art and after school we knew that is was only the beginning of our photographic careers.
