Pursuit Nutrition & Training Gym
Introduction
Hi! I am Samson Jagoras. I am one of the Owners at Pursuit, along with Zack Whitmer and Sam Muth. In 2017, we set out to fundamentally change the way Gyms were doing business. We are the first gym to make nutrition the most important element of your success. We just so happen to be really good at training clients and designing exercise programs to help people achieve their goals.
Nutrition + Training = Results
A healthy, fit lifestyle starts with nutrition; however, the majority of people do not have the resources or education necessary to make this permanent change. As a result, they rely on shortcuts and false, negative information, which only leaves them to repeatedly start over and/or never maximize their potential. Our personal trainer team believes that in order to truly thrive, you must create lasting change to perform optimally in the pursuit of your health, fitness, and performance. You have to make health a lifestyle choice. Therefore, our fitness gym provides complete nutrition coaching, educational nutrition, and training classes, along with group classes, private training, and open gym to all our members.
Join the movement, change your life, and create lasting improvements that are easy to maintain. The Pursuit never stops.

Ever since I became friends with the coaches at Pursuit just six months before this was all started they asked if I would like to work out with them since I was there the same time they were. I stared learning the right techniques and nutrition. I learned how to do things not the way everyone does it but the way I need to do things for me and my own body, they make every thing so easy!! If you want to surround yourself around motivated goal oriented people this is the place for you. I was truly lost and had no idea what goals I could set for myself but now I know exactly what I want and what I need to do to get it!!! Don't wait any more, you have nothing to loose but a shit ton to gain!!!!!

Pursuit nutrition and fitness an amazing concept and actual place where they take care of every single client they have, young and old of the sorts. For the price it's invaluable compared to the vast amount knowledge each coach shares there. The fact that they put nutrition first is a genius idea, amazing atmosphere, and free dad jokes. I give pursuit a 10 out of 10 in my book. So in September of 2016 I started working out and I saw little results and I wondered why this was. So I reached out to my brother who was and is a fitness guru, he recommended me pursuit to help. So I hit them up, and within 9 hrs I was contacted and we set up a plan based around nutrition with a supplemented workout program, and as soon as I started the first week I saw immense results that blew my mind. I had lost 9 lbs in my first week, I had more energy, I became much stronger extremely fast. It's all due to the genius over at pursuit.

For those of you who dont like to read long testimonials or recommendations, this first paragraph is for you. If want to be part of a fitness family who are full of passion and knowledge, Samson, Zack, and Sam are the guys for you. If you want real results and real lifestyle changes, these guys can get you there. The only thing you must bring to the table is the desire, determination, and willingness to do the work. It is really that easy. This team is very passionate about health and fitness and most of all about their clients. My Fitness StoryFor those of you, who are inspired by those who have been where you might be now keep reading because I have been there and this is my fitness story. I was always in decent shape for most of my life. I played 4 sports in High School and after School and a brief stint in college I began working in the industrial field. I first worked in environmental cleanup and then industrial construction. Although, I transitioned from Industrial construction to Healthcare IT about 4.5 years ago I am, still an Ironworker, Boilermaker, and Rigger! In other words, I know what real work is because I lived it for 15 years. This real work kept me in decent shape no matter my diet or exercise habits. At one point when I did have a set workout routine and decent diet I was 169 lbs and 9% body fat at 5 10 tall. My brother and I would work 12 to 14 hours a day and work out 2 hours a night. Lets just call it beast mode. About 7 years ago I met the love of my life and got married. At that time, I was about 190lbs and was not working out. After about 2 years together, I decided to change careers and pursue a career in Healthcare IT. This was a great move for me mentally but physically I was ignorant too the effects of a more sedentary work and because I was always in shape without trying, I did not realize that construction had kept me in shape. To add to it I began brewing my own beer and really getting into the craft beer culture. Within 2 years I was well over 235 lbs, drinking pretty much every day, and just overall not happy. I had always felt capable and able to handle myself in any given situation. Thats one of the requirements to be an Iron head. I didnt have that anymore. I noticed myself avoiding situations because I knew that I was not physically able to do something. The two worse things that happened to me is that it felt like my wife was not as attracted to me and I noticed that she was making less comments about what she called my swag. Apparently, when we were first together I walked in any room like I owed the place and would walk with a swag. I was getting mad at her at first because she wasnt commenting on it and then I had the realization that it because I wasnt doing it anymore. Second, was the hearbreaking realization that I was avoiding playing with my step-daughter because I couldnt run for more than about 20 yards without being so out of breath I had to take a break. when I made excuses to sit on the couch and not play with her or go for a hike with her because I had become lazy. I still see the sadness in her eyes. These two realizations coupled with the fact that I did not feel capable as a man made me start looking for a way to change things. I decided to quit drinking until I was healthy again and then in moderation. My brother, Johnney Reynolds, had been on his own fitness journey for over 6 months at the times and was trying to be supportive and give me suggestions over several months. Finally, He told me about a friend of his he considered a brother named Samson Jarogas. He said that Samson and I would get along great and that Samson was a nutrition and exercise coach.I called Samson up and told him I was ready for change. When he asked, what were my goals, I replied simply that I want to be capable again. I want to be functionally strong. I want to be healthy. I want to do pull ups. That is all I wanted. He told me ok when do you want to get started and I replied tomorrow. That decision changed my life. I worked with Samson for 58 weeks and went from 230 lbs to 175 lbs. The thing is it is not just that I lost 55 lbs, it is that With Samsons guidance I completely recomposed my body from a very overweight and unhealthy one to a fit strong and capable. I would not have done that without his guidance and friendship. He always knew what to say to give that little bit of encouragement to get you through a tough spot or that gentle nudge when I went off track. From him I learned that there is a simple formula to be successful in fitness and life for that matter. The formula is consistency, hard work, and not giving up. I promise you if you read this far and you are willing to do those three things Samson and the team at Pursuit Fitness will provide you with the road map to get there. Oh and by the way the best things about reaching my goals is that my 9-year-old step-daughter cant keep up with me!!!!!!!!!!! My wife began commenting on my swag again!!!!!!!!!! But most of all I am happy with myself and my health. I will leave you with this. What most people consider a failure, I consider a lesson and I do not fail until I quit. If you believe this is true then failure is not a measure of self-worth but a measure of how much you want something. Do you want to be healthy? Do want to be fit? Why do you want these things? Figure this out and Samson will get you there!!!!!!!!!Thank you, Samson!!!!! I so grateful for guidance, support, and love I received from you and the team!!!!!!!!!! Love yall, brother!!!!!!!! If anyone would like to speak to me about Samson and his team, Samson has my contact information. I will be happy to speak with anyone about this great and passionate team!!!!!

How can I put this? I am a man of few words, mostly because I do not have time to explain myself nor do I feel the need to, you either listen or you don't. Your choice. My life revolves around making decisions that are critical to the safety of others. We work long dangerous hours (13-14hr days/nights) 6-7 days a week year-round. My work forces me to be thousands of miles away from my family, which we all know can be tough on a mans soul. Other than the sound of my wife and two sons voice, the only thing that keeps me from losing my shit, is my coach and the challenges of this program. He often reminds me "Its only temporary". Samson and I have known each other several years. The reason I call him a brother and a coach, he can be humbled by others. He truly gives a shit about his clients. If he thinks he can help you, then believe him. Samson and his team are legit in my book...

I want to encourage anyone who might be considering hiring any of these trainers, do it! It will be one of your best financial decision you make and one you won't regret! You want results? Hire one of them! My long story made short. I had cancer twice. Between surgeries, a lot of medication, radiation, chemotherapy, I gained 40 lbs! Though it was a good thing during cancer it was a bad thing after cancer. I spent many years working out and dieting, sadly I never lost one pound until Samson came along and introduced me to macro nutrition! What a huge blessing he and his knowledge have been to me! I have lost 25 lbs so far and I am looking forward to reaching my goals. The last thing I'll say is this, what makes the trainers at Pursuit Nutrition different? THEY CARE! They walk along side of you, encouraging, educating, motivating and inspiring you to believe, stay focused, be disciplined and YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL!!! DO IT! GO FOR IT!
