Keith Hicks Guitar Lessons

Interested in taking your guitar playing to the next level? Have you been working with someone for a long time, but you feel like you can't really play anything? I teach out of my studio in Wheat Ridge, CO. I am currently accepting students for in person lessons. I also teach via Zoom for students that would prefer to work remotely. I approach each students individual needs with a custom catered approach. Whether you are just looking to strum some of your favorite Beatles and Dead tunes, or if you are really looking to get inside the instrument--learning theory, scales, and how to read--I'll work with you to reach your goals. I've been playing for over thirty-one years, and currently play professionally throughout the Front Range. I play a wide variety of styles, including rock, blues, funk, jazz, country, Americana, Folk, and Fingerstyle. Some of my influences include David Gilmour, Derek Trucks, Jimi Hendrix, Mark Knopfler, Jerry Garcia, The Beatles, Bon Iver, The Band, John Scofield, Leo Kottke, Ryan Adams, Grateful Dead, Phish, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Clapton, The Allman Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks, Taj Majal, and Roy Buchanan.
