- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin by assessing each student's musical background and interests to create a personalized lesson plan. Scheduling and lesson length are flexible, with most students opting for 1-hour sessions. I am currently offering an introductory discount for new students to try lessons at a reduced rate. Students (and parents if applicable) will fill out a goal sheet, which we will refer to at 3 months, to see if we are meeting your goals! I will also provide students with a practice log, so we can see what you're practicing throughout the week.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have dual degrees in Piano and Guitar Performance from the University of Miami Frost School of Music. In high school, I attended the prestigious Eastman School of Music, where I studied Jazz Piano Performance and Music Theory. Since graduating, I’ve taught thousands of students aged 4 to 94, with many continuing their education at prestigious institutions such as The Juilliard School, Berklee College of Music, and Manhattan School of Music. Additionally, I have extensive recording experience, having produced for solo artists, bands and large ensembles. My own, self produced debut album has garnered over 1 million streams.
