FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I go with a standard time and material rate of $150 p/h. The reason for this is because I found that it is difficult to determine a flat rate fee per job and it will leave the customer open to be taken advantage of. If a technician that works by flat rate fees describes a job to be difficult when it actually is not, the customer gets stuck paying a high rate for now reason. My time and material rate is applied to every customer just the same. I want my pricing to be upfront and transparent for every customer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
