FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No tree is the same and pricing for tree services depends on many factors. The most important is the scope of work that we will be applying to your tree/s. For Tree Trimming/Pruning, we may just be removing a few branches that are touching your house or we may be working on the entire tree to reduce end weight of branches, remove dead/dying/diseased branches and thin the canopy to provide more light to your yard and airflow through the canopy. Trimming the entire tree requires much more skill and knowledge than simply removing a specific branch that is touching the house. Because of this, we will need to assess each tree and the scope of work required/requested before giving an exact price. So that you have an idea of Tree Trimming prices; expect to pay $125-$300 for small trees, $300-$800 for medium trees and $800-$2000 or more for the largest of trees (depending on the scope of work we would be doing while in the tree). For Tree Removal, prices will depend on physical size of the tree and amount of material involved (and our ability to safely and efficiently remove it from your property with minimal impact). The location of the tree/s on your property will also be a factor; if it is in the backyard that automatically means we will be spending a lot more time hauling the material out to the street to be chipped and loaded on our trucks. If we need to climb the tree and lower each piece on rigging ropes and hardware that will also be a factor. All of this is not to try and scare you into paying more, rather it is just to let you know what goes into the thought process and calculation of the quote you receive. For a quick idea of Tree Removal prices; small trees $150-$450, medium trees $450-$1200, and large trees $1200-$2400 and above (depending on the above mentioned factors).
