Hello to all! My name is Shane, I'm from New Orleans, Louisiana and now living in Lone Tree, Colorado. I'm a certified personal trainer, sports nutrition coach and self defense instructor. I offer tai chi breathing exercises, yoga and meditation as well. I have over 30 years of martial arts training, over 20 years of cooking experience and 10 years of personal training.
My passion for health and fitness started when I entered the world of martial arts at the age of 10. And there my 30 year journey I've learning much about mental and physical health, fitness and the philosophy of living through the martial arts. The martial arts made me mentally strong and flexible. Then I started to learn the gym to make my body stronger. Then came nutrition after being a cook in New Orleans for 30 years I put all my skills together to help other learn and challenge themselves to see what they are capable of doing when pushed to new heights of learning.
Sports nutrition:
I offer a 5 week meal plan set alround my clients personal goals. Which includes weight gainer shakes, recipes for home cooked meals, tummy tuck tonics, healthy living shakes to bake at home for pre work outs. Recipes for training tonics. Nutrient timing to improve sports performance. Macro learning.
Personal training:
Body conditioning, endurance, flexibility strength training. Free weights, machines and calisthenics 30 min to 2 hr sessions available to all clients. Post work out massage available with a compression gun also. Session can be fitted for personal goals. My specialty is quasiacentric overload technique training which focuses on burning fat, building muscle fast, strength and endurance all in one technique of training.
Self defense:
Taekwondo, hopkido, kenpo, qi gong kung fu, and kick boxing. Defensive grappling and throws. Shadow boxing, and mental combat focusing. Flexibility and mobility training. Defensive and offensive learning. Striking, intercepting/counters, punch and kick drills, learning how to telegraph a fighter, foot work drills and calisthenics. Self defense training is available for those looking to gain confidence in dangerous situations. Being aware of weapons and how to defend against them.
My gym has cardio machines, leg machines, cable machines, row machines, ellipticals stairmasters treadmills kettlebells yoga balls free weights jump ropes resistant bands and more. Along with a yoga room for stretching and warm ups. Everything needed to reach your goals in fitness. Private clean and safe.
