FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At MaxxTech Electrical Services we invest a lot into our employees as well as our customer service. We strive to provide fair and reasonable pricing that allows us to provide the investment in to both. Most feedback received from our customers indicates we are usually priced between the cheapest and most expensive bids. We take pride in serving our customers and not selling our customers so we will never try to sale unnecessary services. Lastly, we do require a 50% deposit 1 week in advance on most projects. We have almost 2 years of proven success doing it this way. Providing a deposit is a great way for the business and the customer to have a equal investment in the project leading up to the installation. We never ask for the remaining balance until the project is complete and the customer is satisfied with the result!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new customer contacts us to complete a project, we first strive to schedule a Free Estimate or Service Call. Service Calls are better if a customer has a defect in their electrical system that needs diagnoses to repair. This allows us to identify a problem and give our customer a better idea of the price to fix the system. Free estimates are great for customers who have a larger project with different variables that may affect the price. We show up at your residence and spend 15minutes to 1hour looking over things and then provide a upfront price estimate for the project within 24 hours in most cases. Once a customer notifies us they want to proceed we are usually able to schedule the work within 2-3 weeks. We strongly suggest taking advantage of the Free Estimate to get the best pricing for a project. Beware of companies who send quotes without looking at things in person!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Colorado has some of the highest licensing standards for Electricians in the nation. I went to a trade school to start my career while I was a apprentice and we carry that tradition to our employees. We send all our trainees to a local trade school and pay 100% of their tuition costs. As the owner, I hold a Masters license in Colorado and we require our Technicians to have 2 years of experience and a Residential Wireman’s license. We also provide all our employees monthly paid skills training and safety training. MaxxTech Electrical Services is leading the way to help produce skilled, knowledgeable, and licensed electricians to work on your home!
