I'll let the pictures tell the story. Essentially the crew was understaffed the duration of the job. Took an extra day. They rushed through it and did not properly mask/tape rocks/mulch/storm door. One guy even noted the bad spray job of one of his co workers. Also left a mess of chipped paint and did not replace a concrete downspout. Garage is already showing a huge peel of paint. I asked to get this fixed and was told to get a new garage door.

We had popcorn ceilings scraped and refinished. There was a misunderstanding about timeline which led to a rushed job. There was damage to our walls and paint. I was also treated disrespectfully by the individual who managed our project.

We're sorry you're confused about the timeline it was expressed during the estimate. We would be happy to come take care of any touchups. On the last day of the project you told us a moving truck was coming at noon so we did rush and hurry up and clean up and got out of the way because you had expressed that we would have to pay for the movers. The ceilings turned out great and the movers were able to start as soon as they arrived. It was also discussed during the estimate that the client was going to paint walls after we were done so no need for touchups. We Would be happy to give you a free estimate for painting all the interior walls please call or email us any time to schedule thanks.

Hired Vals to paint 19 interior doors with removal and reinstall part of the total job description. Painting of the doors looks great. The reason for lower rating is for the reinstall of the doors led to multiple issues with (5 doors) them not being able to close all the way. After contacting Val’s after the job, I was told that it was out of their control, though the doors closed properly prior to them being painted (minus one closet that had issues before). I am now responsible for fixing these issues

Most jobs are by the square foot depending on what needs to be done. I also bid projects by room or scope of work. We do small projects to large projects with a well staffed crew to finish on schedule and on budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Schedule an estimate. Describe process and materials used. Sign paint contract. Complete work. Walk through project and touchups. Cash out and receipts
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm always learning the newest and most productive ways to apply textures and finishes. I work closely with my Sherwin Williams representative we find the best most cost-effective and longest lasting finishes for your project.
