FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For pricing, I believe that each job is unique so I do not go by a pricing standard. I collaborate with each one of my clients to create a custom package and price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process goes as follows. - Initial contact. Start of by discussing what type of photos the client is looking for, discuss how much time will be needed for the shoot and decide on a location. Also we will take a look at the number of images, delivery format (digital or prints) and the final usage of the photos. - Estimate. After discussing the details listed above I will put together a price. - Booking a date and time for the session. - Photo shoot session, I ask for payment at the end of the session and schedule a time to review the photos (usually within 2-3 days). - Photo review. I will put a basic edit on the photos from the session and present them at the review to have the previously discussed number of final images chosen, at this time more can be purchased if desired. - Final Edit. I will put the finishing touches on the images chosen at the review. - Delivery. I will deliver the images in whichever format was arranged previously. I have a fast turn around, generaly this process takes about a week but can be done as fast as same day if need be.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Ive been a photographer for over 14 years. Initially photography started out as a hobby for me and quickly evolved into a passion. After working in several other fields I decided that I needed to be involved with work I was passionate about. I can say that the saying is very true, "if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life".
