Had a scheduled appt. I didn't hear from them till I reached out about the status and was told "been dealing with a major emergency at work since this morning and I cannot leave until it is resolved. I'm really sorry." I understand unexpected incidents occur but if you can respond after I message you, then letting a client know that you wouldn't be able to make it AHEAD of time would have been feasible.
