Our approach to landscape project pricing is 100% transparent and value driven. Our detailed cost estimates provide our customers with transparency, a significant amount of detail, and serve as an outstanding resource for making decisions regarding your investment. We bring a unique model to the table that help our customers make value based decisions throughout the design and pricing process.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
DESIGN: This is the first step in turning your vision into a reality. We work with you to design a custom landscape, outdoor living space, or property feature that reflects who your are and your vision for your space. Design Consultation When you give us a call, our first step is getting to know you and understanding your project needs. During our design consultation, one of our team members will come walk your property with you. Here we listen to your ideas and budget and provide input from a design perspective. We'll do a comprehensive site analysis and take photos to aid in the design process. Design Report After our initial consultation, we'll review the details and create a custom design report for your property. Our report will include the initial schematic design sketch, showing the proposed layout of your new custom landscape. We'll also include a conceptual estimate, with a line-by-line breakdown of your landscape's features. Each item will come with proposed materials and colors so you can get a feel for your outdoor living space. Design and Estimate Review With the design report in hand, the next step is getting together to review your custom landscape design. We'll talk through the proposal and make any modifications in project scope and design from the initial schematic report. Agreement Once we're aligned on the scope, budget and design details of your custom landscape, we'll send over the agreement. This gives you time to review each line item once again. We're here to walk you through the process. Once the agreement is signed, we'll get you on our schedule to complete your luxury outdoor living space. Final Design Once the agreement is signed, we'll take the final details and elements we discussed and create a final design plan. This is what we'll use as our "guidebook" to install your custom landscape design. PRE-CONSTRUCTION This is where the behind-the-scenes logistics of a project comes together. During this part of the process, we'll take care of ordering materials, scheduling, and ensuring your site is ready for our crews to transform into your brand new outdoor living space. Material Procurement Think logistics. During this phase our team is hard at work securing the materials necessary to turn your design into a beautiful space you'll love. We strive to work with locally-owned vendors to keep our community strong and sustainable. Project Meeting Our team is dedicated to ensuring your custom landscape installation is seamless as possible. During the project meeting, our team will meet internally to discuss logistics, scheduling, deliveries and sequencing of work. Our crews and leadership work together to ensure the best outcome for our clients and work hand-in hand through the entire construction process. We'll also notify your neighbors to let them know what to expect. CONSTRUCTION This is where your vision becomes reality. Throughout the construction process, we're here every step of the way to ensure your satisfaction. Our construction team is detail focused, expert problem solvers and strive to deliver the highest quality product, every time. Material Delivery This is often the exciting and overwhelming first step of a construction process. They Grey Rock team is here to make this process smooth for you. We'll coordinate based on your schedule and needs to ensure we stage our materials in locations that minimize their impact on your lifestyle. This is the exciting first step of seeing the design become a reality. Installation This is when your property begins to be transformed into the luxury outdoor living space of your dreams. Our outdoor living experts will be hard at work prepping the site, installing materials and ensuring every detail is crafted to perfection. Construction Walk Our team is here to make sure you're happy with every detail of your installation. During the construction process, we like to walk the site with you to help you better understand your landscape as it's being put together. We'll address any concerns you have and ensure you receive the custom landscape you'll enjoy for years to come. Turnover This is our equivalent of "handing over the keys." As we finish the project, we'll leave your property looking better than before. We'll walk one last time and let you begin enjoying your new outdoor living space!
