I have been studying piano with David for nearly seven years and can say with great confidence that he is an outstanding teacher. David is a tremendously talented pianist and composer who shares his knowledge and joy of music with his students. As someone who started piano as an older adult, I am particularly grateful for David's patience, humor, and insight. He has much experience training adults, and for someone like me that is a tremendous help. I would highly recommend David to students of any age, especially to adults, who wish to learn piano. I do my best to work out a budget plan that works best for both of us. When we speak, we can discuss the details.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Speaking and meeting in person is the best way for us to learn more about each other, and to see if it feels right for both of us. It's all about you making musical progress and having fun!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My music degrees come from highly respected universities. I regularly perform classical, jazz, pop, rock, funk, and ragtime, and improvise in a wide variety of styles. In addition to teaching, I compose and arrange for TV, theater, and multi-media.
