FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge per lesson, but I often offer seasonal discounts, particularly in the summer. My rates are very reasonable and as long as you study with me you will never see your rates raised, guaranteed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
On your first day we'll talk about what your favorite music is, what your experience with music and/or the guitar is (no experience needed!), and what you hope to achieve with the guitar, your voice, or songwriting. After that, we'll put together a personalized plan to get you there as quickly and effectively as possible. You can alter or change this plan at any time, but we'll make sure we're always following a well-designed plan.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied guitar performance in college and have a bachelor's degree in music. I have well over 10 years experience teaching and performing professionally. Since graduating college, music has been my full-time gig. I have taught students of all ages and background and performed in dinner shows, jazz combos, classical concerts, musical pit orchestras, and many more.
