We were providing the music and microphones for a ceremony at a hotel in downtown Denver. The bride had her heart set on having her wedding on the terrace. Thirty minutes prior to the ceremony's scheduled start time, it was storming hard (lightning hitting across the street...scary). The hotel staff had already moved everything inside and I had set up the music and tested the microphones in the new location. The bride was devastated and insisted that the wedding be held on the terrace. The sky was just starting to clear up, so I looked at the event coordinator and said, "We can do this". She agreed and we moved everything back up stairs within a few minutes. The weather cooperated and we were able to make it happen. The ceremony started 15 minutes behind schedule, but is was on the terrace where the bride wanted it.
