FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We provide you with a "price" instead of an "estimate". We believe that in the process of tackling a huge renovation project, budgeting and being able to predict the costs is an important factor for any homeowner. We take the guesswork out of the process. If the project has a change that impacts pricing, we issue a Change Order for our customer's approval before it's considered effective. Otherwise, what you are quoted is what you will pay.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process starts with a brief phone call to find out a little bit about your project, as well as set an appointment for our complimentary consultation. You should expect that the consultation will take about 90 minutes, which will include us measuring your space and delivering you rough drawings of our initial ideas so that we can make sure we're understanding your vision for your new and improved space in your home. After that, we'll deliver an estimate of our pricing for your project and we can get to work as soon as you approve it!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Gordon Kearns has worked in construction for over three decades, and is well-versed in many facets of the construction and remodeling processes. He is licensed for residential IRC (International Residential Code) and has a rich understanding of residential code standards.
