Introduction
I offer innovative, contemporary photography services; with an emphasis on the detail and nuance of my subjects. I enjoy a more journalistic approach in event photography -some of the best photos occur when the subject is unaware and not “posing.”
I especially enjoy wedding, engagement-and portrait photography; and I specialize in Western lifestyle or “cowboy” weddings.
I also provide equine portraits, with or without their people, horse and livestock marketing photos and farm/ranch promotional photography. In addition, I am an accomplished rodeo photographer.

I had a great experience working with Virginia for my proposal photos! She was incredibly easy to communicate with and stepped in on very short notice, which I truly appreciated. She was punctual and made sure to capture plenty of photos from different angles. Some of the images turned out beautifully, while a few felt slightly over-edited, but overall, I’m really happy with the experience. If you’re looking for someone reliable and flexible for a special moment, I’d definitely recommend her!

I have had very good experiences working with Virginia and Ghost Horse Photography. My fiance hired her to secretly photograph him proposing to me, and it was such fun! We had gone to one of my favorite places in this lovely little valley, and she was hiding in the trees taking our pictures. I never saw her, but the pictures were gorgeous! I will treasure them. My fiance actually got her name from me, because I had hired her to photograph a horse I was selling. The images were stunning and I'm certain that they helped with the sale. I would happily recommend her for any type of photography! She's very easy to work with and knowledgeable and her prices are very reasonable.

Virginia is an astute photographer who is prepared to bend over backwards for her customers! She recently took newborn photos of my son and came completely prepared with all of the tools necessary for a successful shoot of any style/pose we were dreaming of. She was warm and friendly throughout the entire process and made my wife and I feel completely comfortable and in our own element which only made for excellent photos, of course.
