FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies by the length of document and the level of editing requested.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I conduct a project intake call with each customer to review the project and learn about the customer's needs and expectations. We wrap up the call with an agreed upon target date for project completion and fee for the editing service. I summarize those agreements in a Statement of Work which I send to the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education: BA, English and Secondary Education MA, Comparative Literature MEd in Education and HR Studies Experience: Writing has been a critical element in every job I've held: reports and proposals, conference agendas and presentations, strategic planning sessions, executive team quarterly meetings, business correspondence, procedural and systems documentation, job descriptions, training presentations and activities, skills development activities, newsletters, case studies . . . I've had the opportunity to create documents that customers and associates needed to keep the business moving ahead. I worked as a trainer and training manager in financial services organizations (banks, credit card, payment processing, insurance) for over 40 years. In that capacity, I developed and delivered leadership development, operational, technical, compliance, and risk training programs. I have provided writing and editing services for non-profits, business start-ups, and professionals pursuing degree programs.
