FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are all inclusive - many salons and other businesses charge extra for nail trims/files, ear cleaning, gland expression, teeth brushing. I don’t. There are however some additional fees for extensive dematting, and/or temperament issues that require extra time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before arriving for a new client, I like to get some background information on their pup. What kind of triggers they may have around the grooming process, what kind of allergies they may have, etc. When I arrive, I prefer to do a short meet and greet with the client and pup, go over the new client form, and discuss the best place to set up and what kind of haircut they are looking for. Then I retrieve my gear, and get started. For new pups, I prefer to move a little slower and make sure I am within their comfort boundaries.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Texas All Breed Grooming School in 2017 with a canine CPR certification as well, and I am Fear Free certified as of January 2023.
