FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a sliding scale based on client's ability. My usual fee is 90$ for individual sessions and 120$ for couples or family sessions. Each session is an hour long.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always meet the clients for one free session in order to see if it's a good fit. Client-therapist relationship is the foundation of the therapeutic process and if the client doesn't feel comfortable, I help to refer her out. In the first session I usually go over the main reason why the client decided to seek help and we go over reasonable expectations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in philosophy that is useful with existential issues and Logo Therapy. I have a Masters degree in social work. I have a mediation certification and experience in mediating court ordered cases - these skills are extremely important and useful when working with couples and families. I have an excessive education in Applied Existential Therapy from the Boulder Psychotherapy Institute. I have 10 years of teaching experience that is very useful when working with children, teens and families. I have a military background of five years as an officer in the Israeli Army which comes in very handy when working with Veterans.
