Mike was nice, but my beef is with either Thumbtack or the Friendly Neighborhood Locksmith owner, Greg...cuz your website says there's a $65 service fee, but if you use their service, that will be waived. Well, it's not. Greg says he's tried to get Thumbtack to change that, but they won't. I have no idea if that's the truth or not, but I'm not happy about paying the service fee in addition to the other costs they charge, when it clearly states on the Thumbtack app that it would be waived. Someone's not being honest with the customer. I will be VERY hesitant to use either the Thumbtack app, or the locksmith in the future.

We do not waive the service call. We do not know why Thumbtack says that or how to change that. That is the trip charge for the time and gas to get an expert to your door. Steve, we clearly told you over the phone $65 service call and $100-120 for the safe lockout. This consisted of a 2 hour round trip drive to Colorado Springs along with the safe lockout. We have very reasonable pricing and are transparent about it - we told you the price over the phone. We tried our best and I don’t know what else we could have done to deliver a 5 star experience. We’re sorry to hear that your experience still did not meet your expectations. We apologize if this was not as clear as it could have been, and will try even more so to make this clearer.
