Sergio was very prompt in getting with me and giving me an estimate. The estimate was in my ball park. He had to do some ceiling repair work for which I was satisfied with. His suggestion of using one paint for all the work was very good. I am also having him do the exterior. He keeps me informed of what he is doing and if and when he will be there.

Sergio Sifuentes was totally unprofessional, rude, and may be the worst contractor I’ve ever hired.
Full story: I hired Sergio to paint the walls of an empty 900 square ft apartment. He asked for half up front, saying he had experienced trouble in the past, which was fine. I forwarded the first half. He gave me a list of things to get at Home Depot, which I supplied. Halfway through the next day he messaged me saying that the paint wasn’t working well. I asked him if he could handle it. He said yes and got different paint. A couple hours later he gave me a call, pissed off, and demanded that I pay him the other half immediately. I told him that I’d pay him the other half when I looked it over. He accused me of being a scammer. I tried to talk reason with him and eventually hung up.
I drove to my property hoping he hadn’t done something to screw it up. The place is fine. I sent him the second half and called him out for his behavior. Now I’m blocking him because he’s continuing to send a bunch of angry texts. Goodbye.

I'm sorry you felt that way . But me asking for a deposit I think it's fair . I don't know you so want to cover my payment to my helpers . You asked me about what paint to get and I told you eggshell or satin interior and the rest of the materials. You went and got the lowest product of paint from Home Depot .which made it very difficult to make look good and consistent and that's why called you to let you know and I went bought a better paint from Sherwin Williams with my money and got the job done . Which I did . Also when we started I asked you when you needed it done by and you said asap so I stop my other project to get your project to make you happy . Also I got the apartment painted in 1 day 1/2 to to make happy which I think it a good time .I called you let know I was finished so we could walk it so i could get paid. You said couldn't and you didn't know when you had a chance . Also you were rude kept hang up on me and also accusing me of stealing which you said everything was there . Of course I don't steal I am verified by thumbtack.for the same reason. Your project was done completely and I paid the materials and never paid me back for the materials which it was $160 dollars I paid and steal leave bad review Wow . I put your project on my profile so the realize the work I do . Thank you.
