- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing depends on your project. I can do an hourly figure for consultation only. If there is purchasing involved I pass the wholesale cost plus tax and any receiving, shipping and delivery to your residence of purchasing on to you, and I charge a fee for the project. There is no time billing. My fee is a percentage of the whole project. It works out to be less than retail pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I come to see your residence and we talk about the scope of your project. Our exchange of ideas flows as we tour your house. After my visit if we have agreed to work together I research product and other possibilities and prepare a spread sheet as a guide for costs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend seminars through the design center. I continue to stay abreast of trends in housing. I read lots of magazines to learn abut color trends.
