Hello! My name is Penny Oliver. I love all things design and construction! I started this business so that I could be collaborative in a creative, yet structured manner. I enjoy partnerships and I want to work with you to create functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces in your home or work.
My experience in construction, art and design, and the therapeutic art of counseling, places me in a unique position to not only help you create a beautiful, functional space, but also to guide you through it with grace and ease.
My focus is on Remodeling Design and I can help you with all aspects of a remodeling project from initial floorplan design with 3d renderings all the way through the demo and rebuild and into full interior design of finishes and furnishings.
My approach is open-minded, explorative, creative and client-centered. I am passionate about creating a clear, concise design plan before any major demolition begins.
I blend expertise in design with creativity and empathy. I am committed to working closely with clients, translating their needs and desires into beautiful, functional spaces that resonate with their personal style. My goal is to make the remodeling process seamless, enjoyable, and aligned with the client's vision.
Pricing:
Initial free 30 minute in-home/office consultation (for locations within 30 minutes of my south lakewood studio).
My fee for Design and Planning is $85/hour... This is for creation of new basic floorplans within a 1/2" of accuracy, 3d conceptual renderings, selection of finishes, furnishings and materials. If more specific drawings with final selections of tile and cabinetry are needed there is the option to upgrade to CAD drawings. Cost for this is based on the size and scope of the project and can only be estimated after the remodeling design concept has been completed.
Master Bathrooms and Kitchens are usually 12-18 hrs of my time. Leaving you with a plan to take to your contractor or for us to use as we progress through the remodeling process together!
Full Project Management after Design phases 1&2: $125/hour or flat fee per project. Contracts and proposals are provided and agreed upon prior to each phase of the project.
Payment: Half up front, half upon delivery of drawings and plans.
