FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The $160 quote is for a full 2 hour session for talk and hypnosis if you are open to it. I offer a special of 3 sessions for $400 if you are willing to make a commitment. I will accept cash, check, credit cards and health savings cards as payment. For relationship counseling, we limit sessions to an hour and 1/2. You can invest and save by using a 10 session package for $1400 for family therapy.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session will take about 2 hours and will include paperwork and a complete intake to get to know you, your specific needs, your words and what you want to accomplish out of the session sessions. It will also include some education about hypnotherapy, how it works, and a full hypnosis session specific to your main issue. The following sessions always include some talk time to see what has been effective, what is still needed, and what has happened in your life lately, as well as hypnosis. Sessions after our initial session are typically 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Children's sessions are usually shorter as their intakes are generally shorter with less life experiences to talk about.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master's degree in counseling, many hours of classroom and supervised clinical training, and years of experience. I attend at least one monthly continuing education workshop and I am a certified member of IMDHA (International Association of Medical and Dental Hypnotherapists). I graduated in August, 2019 with another master's degree in marriage and family therapy. I learn more everyday as I tap into many resources. I believe leaders are readers, so I am always reading articles and books about new research, new techniques, and learning more each day about topics related to family therapy and hypnotherapy.
