We’ve been having a fantastic experience with James coming 3 times a week walking our 2 dogs. Our dogs couldn’t be happier or more excited on their walk days! James is always so patient, loving and understanding of our pups and their needs. We feel so fortunate to have found James and would highly recommend James to anyone looking for a responsible and competent person to help with their dog walking and care needs!

I’m so glad I had James come by to take care of my cat, dog, and bird! He took our dog Gracie on a walk around our neighborhood every day we were gone, played with Gracie and Robbie (our big orange cat), and checked in on the house. I was really glad I was able to snag someone who communicated so well with us and kept everything safe and tidy. Thanks Friendly Cat Guy!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

For any job over $20, I require a deposit of $20, then the rest paid upon completion.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The first thing you’ll do when setting up a caretaking job with me is to let me know what days or times you need help, and your rough area. I won’t ask for a personal address until we both agree I’m a good fit for your needs. Then, we’ll review how often you’d like me to check in on your home or pets, or how often your dogs prefer to get exercise. After that, we can meet either in person or over the phone, and I’m all yours for the dates and times you need!

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started caretaking homes and pets in the neighborhood I grew up in, but soon was able to expand my offerings around my city on the word-of-mouth promotion my happy customers relayed to others.
