David Klock - Music Lessons

I have spent the last 15 years teaching both music and Spanish. I have directed secondary orchestras, taught elementary music, IB Diploma Program Spanish, middle and high school Spanish at a school for students with learning differences, and been the Executive Director for nonprofit arts organizations. I maintain my practice of teaching private lessons because of my passion for teaching one-on-one. I have a particular knack for getting middle school-aged through adult students excited about new aspects of what they are learning. My enthusiasm for both music and language tends to translate to my students. Honestly, I'm a nerd when it comes to music and language; I love learning about the intricacies of different chord voicings or teaching the differences between gerunds and present progressive verbs. Aside from music, I love being outside. Skiing, fly-fishing, and backpacking are some of my favorite things in the world.
