Vanguard did a wonderful job on our first floor renovation (mainly kitchen). When I was getting quotes, they presented us with the quote, a timeline and a sketch of the kitchen. I was impressed with their professionalism. The job ended up being done earlier than expected. We worked mainly with Chris and he was there every step of the way! I've been recommending Vanguard to all of our friends! Before and after photos also attached.

JC at Vanguard did a phenomenal job installing my wraparound deck. We used an exotic south-american hardwood (tigerwood) that is difficult to work with, but is very durable and beautiful. He and his crew's attention to detail and insistence on it being done right resulted in a beautiful deck that enhances our home's function and curb appeal.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Vanguard's management team comes from a variety of construction backgrounds ranging from new home construction, kitchen and bath design, and remodeling. James Bateman, the company's president, had eighteen years experience as a production and custom framing contractor before switching specialization to remodels in 2008.
