FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the project, pricing might need to be flexible. If additional runs to the hardware store are needed, that could increase the price a little, or if the project doesn't take as long, that could result in a reduction from the original quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to connect with the customer and learn more about the project they have and how they envision it. After we have clear expectations, I will prepare a quote and work with them on how to bring their project to reality.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up helping my parents and family members with projects around the house. My uncle is a carpenter by trade and I learned a lot from him on how to work with the material and tips on how to make it look nice. From there, once I purchased my first home, I had to take on many house projects and have honed several skills through the process.
