Introduction

I have been a carpenter for over 25 years, and building beautiful outdoor structures for the last 10 years. I love working with Wood, but also install Vinyl, Ornamental Iron, Composite and Aluminum such as Quickscreen. Licensed and Insured. I do not use any subcontractors. The work is completed by myself and my assistant. The 3 things you will experience when working with RDM Construction Colorado, LLC: 1) Reasonable pricing - I price my projects not so that I make as much profit as I can each project, but affordable so that clients are inclined to use me again. 2) Excellent communication - I will provide as many details on cost, scope and schedule before during and after your project starts. 3) Quality - I strive for the highest quality workmanship, if you have any issues with anything at completion I will remedy those items leaving you with nothing but satisfaction.

We had a small project to install a patio shade in our backyard. Rick was wonderful to work with — professional, prompt, and high quality work. I feel like it’s hard to find a quality craftsman who follows through on what they say these days. Rick was very prompt in his responses, was transparent about his timelines and was great about tweaking an area we needed to have him come back and fix to our liking. I would highly recommend him for fence or gate work (which is what we used him for).

Rick was exceptionally patient with me while we worked through iterations to fix a gate for my driveway. With his consultation we agreed on a solid plan. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I accept Credit Cards with a 1.5% fee, Zelle, Venmo. Should you be able to pay with cash I can offer a discount based on total job cost.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with clients and have them show me the fence area and we discuss style desired and I note any special project details. I will measure total linear foot of project prior to leaving. The return of a quote takes anywhere from 2-7 business days based on time of year and project scope.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have received my PMP certification in Project Management. My 10 years at Level 3 Communications managing installation of cross country fiber optic cable is much more complex but similar in some regard.
