Gerald and his team were great to work. They come prepared to work and do what they promised. I would highly recommend them for a patio refinish or any epoxy or concrete finish.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I put this review on the backburner for a while because I'm not a huge fan of hurting someone's business. But I very much so don't want this to happen to anyone else. I put in a bid for a metallic epoxy floor with photos of what I had in mind. The listing included carpet demo. Custom Concrete Coatings of Colorado bid on the job saying that they could do what I was asking for. They required a 50% deposit up front, and I had a discussion with the owner about also removing the tile in the bathroom and doing the epoxy in there as well. I paid and scheduled to start on May 20th, confirmed with text by the owner. I texted 5 days before the project started to see if we needed to remove the baseboards and was responded to saying that I wasn't on the books because they thought I went with someone else...despite having paid them almost 2K already. They said there must have been another person with my same name who put in a bid the same time as me and went with someone else (unlikely as I have an uncommon name) but their bad...they could start me on Friday. Confirmed by text. Get a call on Thursday saying they can't start a project on a Friday...so they push the start to Tuesday. Tuesday morning, they show up and I'm not home and they tell my husband that no one told them about the carpet or tile demo! Which was typed out as a cost in the invoice that I had already paid. They eventually demo the carpet and tile and leave...leaving the baseboards with nails facing up at the bottom of our patio stairs (knowing we have dogs) and leaving the side gate open. Said they'd be back the next morning. No call no show Weds. No call no show Thurs. Mind you, someone is having to take off work and all of our furniture is outside for this. And I was texting both the owner and his assistant multiple times a day to figure out what was going on. They finally come back on Friday and do some work and then inform us that they will be out of town for the next week. It kind of goes on and on like this with a blatant disrespect for our time by not showing up or showing up super late with zero communication. Ultimately, the work they did included demo and grinding, sealing some of the cracks but not sealing any of the holes along the baseboard from the carpet nails, leaving some cracks, leaving a dried squeegee mark from the squeegee they had left in the wet coat. Oh - they put a coat of the wrong product on. And then on JUNE 19TH of our "2-3 day project" they told us that they would have to sand off the layers they put on and float a layer of cement over the entire basement and start from square 1. They were fired and a different contractor was hired who fixed everything and was able to give us exactly what we asked for...without floating a layer of cement. Oh - and this company not only kept almost 2 THOUSAND DOLLARS but had the audacity to tell me that they would be sending me a final invoice. I told them to include an itemized receipt for all of the CORRECT products that they used on our floor and I never heard back from them. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau.
