FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The first lesson can be up to 1 hour and is always free! After that, lessons cost $68 for a 60-minute lesson and $40 for 30 minutes. I offer discounts to students who want to take lessons with me but cannot afford my rates. If this is you, please do not hesitate to reach out and ask for a discount!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold multiple higher education degrees in music, including a Master's in Cello Performance from Denver University. I have had the pleasure of studying with some of the top cellists in the country, including Matthew Zalkind and Daniel Morganstern. I have been a working cellist since I was 18, and have experience with event music (weddings, dinners, private parties, etc.), orchestras, and chamber ensembles, as a recording artist and writer, and producer.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began playing violin at 9 years old before switching to cello at 10. At 16 I was awarded a full scholarship to Jacksonville University to do my undergraduate work, where I earned a double major in Cello Performance and Music theory, before going on to finish my graduate work at Denver University. Being a musician has allowed me to pursue all kinds of work in my career, including recording, teaching, and live performance.
