FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally charge prices for my fees on a "flat fee basis" rather than an "hourly basis" which means that you will know before hiring me how much my total fees will be for the entire case. Of course, many cases will naturally require certain out-of-pocket expenses to be paid (which will always be discussed with you prior to being incurred) but the fees I charge are set and will not increase except in the rarest of circumstances (and even then will be discussed with you in advance).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Ideally I like to speak with a prospective client to get some details about the case, but more importantly I want to make sure to advise them of some very time-sensitive steps they may need to take right away in order to protect their rights. Once I have been able to give them those tips, then we can either schedule a free consultation at my office or can discuss everything more fully over the phone.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Admitted to Colorado Bar to Practice Law in 2008. Doctorate of Jurisprudence, Saint Louis University, 2008. Bachelor of Arts, Colorado State University, 2005.
