FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is determined on a project-by-project basis. We operate with low overhead and offer competitive fees for the high level of personalized service we provide. One of the first things we ask is whether your project will require permitting. Most construction, including new builds, additions, structural changes, or significant repairs—requires approval from your local city or county. We guide you through this process from the start, helping ensure all documentation and planning are in place to make permitting as smooth and stress-free as possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process starts with a conversation. We begin by understanding your goals, budget, and whether your project requires permitting. From there, we guide you through initial planning and documentation, tailoring the design and scope to fit your needs. Throughout the process, we prioritize clear communication, collaboration, and keeping things on track, especially when it comes to navigating permitting and construction phases. Every project is unique, and we’re here to make the experience as smooth and rewarding as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from CU Boulder, where I was actively involved in campus planning and initiatives. My training is supported by over a decade of professional experience—from hands-on carpentry to working with leading architectural firms on complex civic, healthcare, and sustainable design projects. I'm also a registered architect in Colorado, with continued involvement in leadership, reflecting my commitment to the profession and community impact.
