After attending the Summer SAT Prep class, my daughter raised her SAT score by 120 points. Michelle keeps students engaged by making learning fun and not boring! Also, the Conifer location is very convenient. We highly recommend Ignite the Mind.

Fun Fridays has given my kids a leg up at their regular school. Michelle always has great programs and activities setup for the kids, and if you talk to her about your kids specific struggles or academic weaknesses, she'll work it into the plan. My daughter doubled her sight word test scores in one month. All the programs are really affordable compared to other activities in the neighborhood too,

I saw Michelle's posts in a Confier Facebook group about summer camps. I researched the website and then emailed for more information back in I think March. She responded quickly, and I signed my son up for the painting & drawing summer camp. Tomorrow is his last day, and he's loved it! I briefly saw the work he's done, and I can tell it's helped improve his skills. Michelle and Betsy have done a great job this week!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
See our website for pricing for SAT Prep, IB/AP Chemistry and Biology Test Prep, GED/HiSET Test Prep and individual or group tutoring. If cost is a barrier, we have grant funds to pay up to 80% of the cost based on income.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During our first couple of sessions, I will be evaluating areas of strength and specific needs. As a licensed teacher, I am skilled at determining specific strategies that work for kids, building confidence and success.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in Biomedical Science from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. I also have a Masters in the Art of Teaching from the University of Maine. As a 21 year veteran educator, science team lead and educational coach, I am well-versed in differentiation instructional techniques to support all learners.
