FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat fee for my design services, and work within your existing budget--or help you develop a budget--to complete your custom design and create the perfect space for you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My full-service design package moves forward as follows: Step 1: Discovery We set up a quick phone call to discuss your project. Then, if you want to move forward, I'll meet you at your space to do a complementary in-person consultation. I'll create a design proposal based on our conversations, and if you're satisfied with the scope of the plan, we'll go under contract. Step 2: Concept This stage involves the detailed measurements of your space and the creation of the design concept. Step 3: Presentation From here, the real magic starts to happen! I'll create customized Design Concepts, Floor Plans, Detailed Product Lists, and 3-D Design Renderings so that you can visualize and feel 100% confident in our ideas. I'll present the designs to you along with any material samples so that you can feel and see the finishes in real life. Step 4: Produce After the design is finalized and all selections are approved, we place and manage the orders for you. Don’t worry, we’ll take care of the headache-inducing logistics. Step 5: Enjoy! Once all your items have shipped and been delivered, an installation day will be scheduled where we deliver and lay out all furniture, hang artwork, style accessories, and take gallery photographs of the completed space(s). Your turn-key design is finally ready!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Certification in Interior Design from the New York Institute of Art and Design, as well as a Certificate in User Experience Design from the University of Michigan.
