FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work on an hourly basis, and charge a flat hourly fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will begin the process by setting up a brief phone conversation. This enables me to gain a better idea of what the project entails. If the client would like to move forward, we will set up an in-person consultation at the residence or business. Going onsite is always beneficial so that I can see the space and begin creating concepts. Once the client decides to hire me as their designer, a contract is signed by both parties. A deposit is required to secure a project time frame on my calendar. After that, the client and I begin to exchange thoughts, ideas, concept photos, etc. I strive to do my very best to create an inviting and aesthetically pleasing visual space, so that the client can be relieved from the driving, price comparisons, placing orders/returns, and shopping.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied at IDI (Interior Designers' Institute) in Newport Beach, CA. I love attending design events on a regular basis to stay familiar with what is current, as well as search for new inspiration. I am always researching online and scoping retail boutiques to broaden my range of options. I also love to collaborate with other designers', artists', and fellow colleagues that are creative and draw inspiration.
