FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We are happy to offer a Free Initial Consultation for new customers. We are always delighted to meet new pet parents and their munchkins, which is why our first ever meet and greet is always free. Here’s what to expect with an initial consultation. 1) We will come to your home at a convenient time and introduce ourselves to you and your pet. If they are shy or anxious we will be extremely respectful of that. 2) We will spend time getting to know your pet’s likes and dislikes, where their food is kept, where their favorite toys are hidden, their medications, and any other important particulars that will enhance our care for them. 3) We will always ask if there is anything else we can do, such as water plants or bring in mail. 4) Before leaving, we will pick up keys and ensure they work in the locks and, of course, say a warm goodbye to your pet.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We take care of anyone that doesn't need to go to college :) Everyone on our team has experience working with extremely abused, shy, and special needs animals. We know the quiet, gentle, respectful approach is best. We love the happy, healthy ones too of course; we take care of anything and everything they need--whatever makes them happy!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Trust your animals. Happy, healthy, animals are usually excellent judges of character. If they aren't comfortable with the person(s) you are interviewing, PAY ATTENTION! We encourage people to interview several sitters. You want to make sure you find just the right team for your furry family. Most professional sitters offer a complimentary 'meet you pet sitter' appointment. Remember, you get what you pay for. Professionals cost a little more, but they (should) have the experience, credentials, and genuine concern for your family to make the extra cost worth it.
