FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The estimation software we use is a program called Xactimate which is the same software the vast majority of the insurance carriers use for their insurance adjustments. This program is updated monthly using information from a vast collection of supplier data and producer data to compile a fair market price for line items based off demo costs, material costs, labor costs and local taxes. There are a lot of different components to a completed roof and we do our best to make sure we pay attention to every detail so you don't loose money on your insurance claim, and we don't loose money by underbidding ourselves.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing we want to do is GET ON YOUR ROOF! We are one of the few companies who actually carry ladders and still perform roof inspections. In fact before we ever suggest roof repairs to a new customer, we conduct a full and thorough roof and property inspection exactly as your insurance adjuster would conduct. (because we are also licensed insurance adjusters. shhh.... dont tell) If we find damage that would be covered by your insurance company, we will tell you. If there is no damage, we will tell you. If your roof is just old and in need of replacing but not damaged by something covered by insurance...... we will tell you. If you want a bid from us we will do our best to write you one up right there on the spot with real bottom line numbers. We can also handle working with your insurance company if you would like us to. But ultimately we try to give you the most honest and accurate information we can about your roof, and leave the decision making in your hands.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We bring over thirty years of roofing and construction experience to the table. While we do focus mainly on roofing, we also have a long and vast history of general construction experience.
