We were in search of a new welder to pick up occasional jobs we need to outsource and Monte's Metal LLC was one of the five choices. After reading some reviews I messaged three of them and within minutes I had a message from Monte. He came out that day to take a look at the jobs we had. That alone was enough enough for me to stop stressing out about a job that needed to be completed "yesterday". Since then Monte has picked up another couple of jobs we had and again he came out as soon as he could and took care of them. I have no idea what welds should look like or how much they should cost, but I could tell that the welds were clean, compared to other companies we have hired in the past. As far as price in my cases, they are cheaper than the other companies we have used in the past, but again I know nothing about welding. Either way I would pay a bit more for responsiveness. Thanks Monte and crew!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on the job or service I try to reach out on the phone to get a better idea of the job. I try to give an estimate that’s as close to the exact price the service is going to be.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad taught me throughout my entire childhood. I’ve worked in mechanical fields and done a lot of fabrication for myself and friends before starting my business. I worked 4 years in gate repair and automation systems.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A wind powered generator a customer requested. This design was made from strong 6061 aluminum and took around 16 hours to finish. There are a few pictures in my photos.
