I am a Personal Trainer for the every day active person, or someone who desires to be active, and wants to get the most out of life through fitness. No Body Building or competitions. I am not a Body Builder, and don't work with Body Builders. It's not for me. Hello, my name is Dan I’m the founder of ReBorn Vitality. With over a decade of fitness and training experience, I have been working with people just like yourself, toning muscle, burning unwanted body fat and most importantly challenging my clients more and more as they grow and develop into the mind and body they desire. From being an athlete in college to being a soldier in the Army, I have had great coaches, and leaders develop me, and I love coaching it forward with personal training. I know how to get the best out of people, and I look forward to coaching you to greater Vitality. I encourage you to read my reviews of past and current clients (below). I work with a wide age range of clients on functional training that is specifically applicable to their lifestyle and goals. The consistent investment in yourself is well worth it. I've never met a single person that regretting improving their health with exercise, but I have met countless people that wished that they had made the investment earlier. For this reason clients often love to do personal training with their spouse, or a group of friends weekly... It's just $20 more per person. For example: A groups of 3 is just $40 per session, and a group of 5 is less than $35 per session when divided evenly. It's motivating, builds comradery and adds to accountability. But even if your going solo, like many of my clients. The investment in your own health will be one of the most rewarding investments you ever make. As it directly impacts your interactions with family, friends, and all of life. I love my work, because I feel called to support your development through strength. I am an in-house trainer (home, apartment gym, park ect.), so working with me is time efficient for you. I teach all of my client’s body weight, as well as resistant band and TRX exercises primarily. If you have access to free weights and/or equipment we can certainty utilize that as well. However, you don’t need a massive gym to get in shape, just the right mindset and coaching. Dan is an incredible trainer who works with you, wherever you're at in your fitness journey. After getting injured in Crossfit, and trying to find an alternative, I sought help getting back into fitness and searched for a personal trainer. With luck Dan popped up in my Thumbtack find and he was the first one to call. In just 2 days, he was training me at my house testing my fitness level. He's affordable, supportive, non-judgmental, and passionate about helping you get to where you want to be. After almost two years working with Dan 2 times a week, I've built a lot of strength and muscle, which enabled me to get back into Crossfit. I couldn't have done it without Dan's help and support. He's a good listener and gives advice when you need it. If you're looking for a trainer who has patience and wants to help you jump-start your fitness goals, i recommended Dan 👍🏽

I've been working with Dan for about 6 weeks and already feel and look stronger. Dan leads an incredible strength session, personalized to my group's goals and fitness levels that leaves us feeling incredibly challenged, and rewarded each time. All while having fun. I couldn't recommend Dan enough for individual or group training.

Too much to say about Dan’s service, but in summary, 10/10, absolutely recommend. I’m a 29 year old that has always prioritized health, fitness, and an active lifestyle. Last fall, I went through a wild health ordeal that made me lose all my strength and conditioning. I was down 13 lbs on an already skinny build. I reached out to Dan, explained the situation, and it was easily the best choice I made for my recovery. Dan is an organized, informed, passionate, and disciplined fitness trainer. He gets to know his clients, develops an engaging and individually catered routine, and executes the plan with continuous feedback. His invaluable experience informs his routines for each client, tracking progress with every step. He fosters a fun atmosphere that makes every session more than just work, but something to look forward to. With every request, setback, or rescheduling, Dan was always responsive and accommodating to suit my needs. I’ve learned a great deal from each session seeing progressive results over the last 4-5 months. He practices a functional strength regiment that impacts all aspects of the client’s life. Everything from increased skiing endurance to helping a friend move a couch. Even visually I’ve seen muscle growth in areas I wasn’t in tune with previously and developed a stronger the mind-body connection to grow previously weaker areas. These skills he taught me are invaluable for the rest of my life. I write this review as a happy and fulfilled customer. I plan to continue our work together and value our sessions greatly. Through whatever life throws you; a desire to build strength, maintain shape, or recover from life altering surgery, Dan is the man with a plan to get every client back on track and meet their goals. I have been working out with Dan for three months. I am always pleasantly surprised with his expertise and ability to motivate me. He not only tailors workouts to my needs, he is able to push me to be my best. He has kept me engaged throughout every session and makes each workout fun. I’ve strength trained for years and last year lost my motivation. Once l started working with Dan doing 2 training sessions per week, I’m back on track and motivated again. I’ve learned so much from him in just 5 weeks of working with him. He is the first trainer I’ve had (and I’ve had a few in the past) to focus on making me foundationally and fundamentally strong. We work on larger muscle groups to build the proper base to increase stability and strength. He is encouraging by celebrating my progress and is attentive by watching my form and counting my reps (whereas some trainers just play on their phone). Dan will help get you to your fitness and health goals!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    A phone call, which generally last about 10 min. We'll discuss your goals mostly, but also touch on how active you have been in the past, and why you want a trainer. We'll also discuss how often you would like to meet a week, and anything else you feel is important for me to know.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) for Personal Training I am also a certified TRX instructor.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I have worked with a vast range of age groups, fitness abilities, and goals. The majority of my clients over the years have wanted to lose weight, and I have especially had a significant amount of success helping my clients achieve this goal. Along with losing body fat, they also gain strength and firm toned muscle. Other clients simple get caught up in the day to day grind of work, and desire to have a structured hour session with me through out the week. 2-3 sessions a week generally gets my clients back on track to having a good work-health balance. However, I have also worked with many people who are new to regular exercise, and desire to have someone coach them so as to have a structured start without getting hurt.
